Natural history tour
on an electric minibus

Saturday 23rd July

In partnership with Surrey Hills Natural Landscape, Surrey County Council's Mole Valley Connect on demand bus service and Mole Valley Life, we are delighted to offer a natural history tour on an electric minibus as part of Natural England’s project to help connect people with barriers to the landscape with nature.    This event has been created for people who are not able to walk very far, have mobility challenges, or struggle to get out into nature for other reasons, including lack of transport (age 10+).  There are 3 steps to get on and off the bus but there are plenty of helpers.  It is a great chance to have a day out in the Surrey Hills and meet people.

The cost of the ticket is £13.50 and includes a guided natural history tour from your seat on the minibus, door to door transport (locally) and lunch in a beautiful historic building.  Dietary requirements are catered for.

The itinerary for the day is to collect you from your own home on Saturday, 23 July, at a time to be confirmed between 10.30am-11.00am and bring you back to your home between 2.00pm-2.30pm.  Francesca will be on the bus to welcome you on board as will our guide.

We will have a maximum number of eight people on the tour. In line with Government guidelines, face coverings are no longer mandatory, this is now a personal choice by the individual. Interior cabin areas are cleaned and sanitised after each journey.

Comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather, personal necessities if required and, if you would like a filled water bottle are all that is needed.  Aside from that, you just bring yourself and relax in the knowledge that your day out will be having a very light touch on the environment.

If you would like to book a place, or interested to learn more, please send an email to me at . We look forward to seeing you.
