Experience related terms

 

Please read and agree to these terms and conditions before paying Just Bring Yourself (JBY).


For all transactions, you will receive an email confirmation of your purchase. If this email does not arrive, please check your spam/junk folder and contact us if you have any queries by emailing hello@justbringyourself.co.uk

Availability

1.  Experiences are subject to availability and in some cases, subject to weather conditions on the day. To avoid disappointment, we recommend that you book the experience well in advance and DO NOT organise travel or accommodation until JBY has confirmed the booking. If we are unable to supply the experience, we will inform you of this as soon as possible

Booking

1. Please do not arrive at a venue without first making a booking with JBY. You must visit https://www.justbringyourself.co.uk/walks-and-experiences and follow the instructions to organise your experience.

Event duration

1. Details of event duration given on the website are to be used as a guide only. Aside from Private Tours, JBY events are ‘open’ days, meaning that other members of the public may also be taking part. The information on our website is meant as an indication of what to expect at the session.  Delays, curtailments and breakdowns may not be within our control, but we will provide an alternative offering should these arise

1. The undertaking of these activities may involve some personal risk. Please note that JBY requires participants to comply with specified safety procedures. Please listen and take note if we request you to do something – it is generally for your safety.

Choosing the right experience

1.  Some of our experiences have some type of restriction applied to them. These restrictions could include age, health and physical restrictions. If you are unsure of the suitability of a particular event, please contact JBY with your query and we will advise you accordingly.

Complaints

1. Please contact us online (hello@justbringyourself.co.uk) with your name, and a full written account of your complaint, including any supporting information that may help us address the matter. To resolve any problems that you may experience on the day, please to speak to a staff member of JBY. We will do all we can to resolve the matter.

Cancellations/Refunds

 

1. Once you book a specific date with JBY, you are bound by our Terms and Conditions regarding cancellations. Once JBY has confirmed a date, it is not possible to change this date unless JBY agrees to the change. Where JBY cannot alter a date, it will not be possible to issue a refund.

 

2. In the unlikely event that JBY needs to cancel the experience after you have booked a date, we will contact you with an alternative date or if this is not available a refund or credit note.  We strongly recommend that you contact JBY on the day before you depart for your experience. In the event of cancellation, JBY will not be held liable for the cost of lost insurance premiums, travel expenses, pre-booked accommodation costs or any other costs incurred.

3. If the reason for your cancellation relates to the current Covid-19 restrictions, then notify us at least 72 hours in advance of your visit.  

Liability

1. When booking an experience with JBY, you will be entering into an agreement with JBY. You will be bound by our Terms and Conditions, including any restrictions applied by JBY. JBY has tried to ensure that the descriptions and images used on all marketing material are accurate. However, images are intended to give a general idea of the experience described and do not form part of any contract between the purchaser and / or the recipient of a gift voucher and JBY.

2. Please check specific event details for food and travel arrangements.

Gift vouchers

1. Just Bring Yourself CIC (JBY) issues gift vouchers to its customers via its website. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the descriptions and pictures contained within the website and on gift vouchers are a true reflection of the events in respect of which the voucher may be redeemed, these do not form part of a contract. Once a specific date has been booked, you will automatically become bound to the terms and conditions of JBY. Please note that experiences are subject to change without notice. This does not affect your statutory rights. Vouchers can be redeemed by emailing us at hello@justbringyourself.co.uk

 

2. JBY sells vouchers which are valid for twelve months from the date of issue (unless otherwise stated). Each recipient is free to book their preferred date for their chosen experience. The experiences in respect of which vouchers may be redeemed are subject to availability and in some cases, subject to weather conditions on the day. To avoid disappointment, we recommend that you book the experience, in respect of which the voucher will be redeemed, well in advance and DO NOT organise travel or accommodation until JBY has confirmed the booking. If we are unable to supply the experience, we will inform you of this as soon as possible
 

3. Please do not arrive at a venue expecting to redeem your gift voucher without first making a booking with JBY. You must visit https://www.justbringyourself.co.uk/walks-and-experiences and follow the instructions to organise your experience.

4. Details of event duration given on the website are to be used as a guide only. Aside from Private Tours, JBY events are ‘open’ days, meaning that other members of the public may also be taking part. The information on our website is meant as an indication of what to expect at the session in respect of which your voucher is redeemed. As JBY vouchers can be redeemed in return for multi-location experiences, session lengths, agendas, vehicles used, numbers of participants and other factors specific to that experience may vary from location to location. Delays, curtailments and breakdowns may not be within our control, but we will provide an alternative offering should these arise.

6. Gift vouchers are valid for twelve months from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated. A voucher will be deemed invalid if it is out of date (the expiry date is clearly stated on the voucher). If you need some extra time to book your voucher, we offer quick and easy extensions. Please email hello@justbringyourself.co.uk to extend your voucher.

​We can make a refund on an unused voucher bought directly from JBY within 90 days of purchase. Any refund will be made to the person who purchased the voucher and they will be refunded directly via the original method of payment or by bank transfer.  To request a refund, please email us on hello@justbringyourself.co.uk

If the reason for your cancellation relates to the current Covid-19 restrictions, then notify us at least 72 hours in advance of your visit.  

No cash redemption value.

10. When redeeming your voucher and booking an experience with JBY, you will be entering into an agreement with JBY. You will be bound by our Terms and Conditions, including any restrictions applied by JBY. JBY has tried to ensure that the descriptions and images used on all marketing material are accurate. However, images are intended to give a general idea of the experience described and do not form part of any contract between the purchaser and / or the recipient of the voucher and JBY.

11. Gift vouchers are sent by email unless otherwise requested.  Postal vouchers ordered before the specific cut-off times on a weekday for delivery by Second Class Royal Mail will be sent via email or dispatched by post the same working day (excluding bank holidays). You may request Next Day delivery (for delivery to the UK only) for an additional charge. We cannot be held liable for any loss suffered as a result of mail being delayed. The gift voucher is invalid if it has been tampered with or defaced. JBY can accept no responsibility for lost or stolen gift vouchers. Please keep the vouchers in a safe place and protect them as you would money.
