GETTING HERE

The starting point of our hikes can be reached by train or bus.  The necessary information is provided in the booking section of each event.  You can find a train ticket here

If you would like to come to the area earlier than a tour or to spend the whole day, just grab a train to one of these destinations:

Box Hill and Westhumble station via Southern Railway or South Western Railway and then on foot to explore Norbury Park Woods.

​

Leatherhead station via Southern Railway, South Western Railway and then by Arriva 465 bus to Mickleham Church where you can alight and explore trails in Mickleham Downs.  

Dorking station via Great Western and then by foot, Metro bus or Arriva 465 bus to Zig Zag Road at the foot of Box Hill.

Check out the station's facilities and mobility access before you choose your station. Bare in mind that there are few toilets on walking routes so it's best to make use of facilities at the station. Always best to go before you go!

Should you need to come by car, please be aware that there is restricted parking in the area. Free parking is available until 5pm in the Surrey County Council car park at Rykas Cafe, RH5 6BY or Crabtree Lane RH5 6BQ with What3Words reference: feared.grape.vanish..
