SCHOOL TOURS

We had the pleasure of taking 90 primary school children to Norbury Park in the Surrey Hills.  Our guides shared nuggets of fun facts about woodland, rivers, geology, eco systems, endangered species and very importantly - the countryside code. Their visit included meeting baby lambs and cows and the farmer talked to the children about life on the farm.  In the afternoon they decorated bunting made from fabric destined for landfill and cards with their reflections of the day.

From learning the woodland's language to nuggets of info about history and geology, children come away seeing the woods in a different light. Get in touch to find out more about our exciting school events.

PROMOTING THE COUNTRYSIDE CODE

We all love getting out into the countryside, especially now the weather is getting warmer.  Let's keep it clean...

  • Take a spare bag with you to pick up that annoying piece of litter

  • Keep your dogs on leads near livestock

  • Shut that gate behind you
